Next door neighbors and the next family listed on the Census record included Louisa (Baker) Smith, sister of Frederick Baker.

Registered for Selective Service in 1942 as a part of the “old men’s registration”. At that time, he lived near Cecilton, MD and worked for Shallcross Bros., Middletown, DE. We assume from the registration card that Mrs. Elizabeth Leathrum was his wife.
